Description
In this sarcastic sketch, I tackle the idea of “constants” in Egyptian society by arguing with someone who insists dancing isn’t art but a violation of these fixed social rules. Throughout our humorous exchange, I challenge why society harshly judges a female actor simply for portraying a dancer, comparing it to actors playing villains who are praised rather than condemned. I mock how vague phrases like “refining public taste” and “preserving Egyptian identity” are tossed around without clear meaning. It’s a comedic yet sharp critique of empty social values we cling to without understanding. After all, what exactly are these sacred “constants,” and do we genuinely believe in them or just fear questioning their meaning?
